Genuine Gentleman Is it just my imagination or is this really true?........... I got an extremely nice email from someone last night. He didnt mention nothing about sex and didnt try to 'indulge' in himself at all. The entire email was nothing but compliments and was ended by...." you deserve it." But, the thing of it is that for some reason, emails I get mainly come from men (and/or women,couples) either outside of my area and from out of the States. Why is it that Local men do not go out of their way like this- just to send a compliment or just to say something nice or thoughtful? I dont get it. Do we not have "good guys" close to us? Is it that the men of America hardly have any gentleman skills/manners like International men do, and show? I know for a fact that Local men do not make me melt like this...and I gotta be honest here: I, myself love to hear things like this. Be honest...we all love to hear someone say something nice like that even if its not because of sex, right? One little simple compliment can brighten anyones day. Why cant we all be like that? Anyone else notice this with men from International Countries or from a different State? This one particular man....totally made my day when I read his email. Thats all he asked from me was friendship and no, I'm not naive. I can tell (womens instinct) he was rather sincere in what his email said. What a Happy way to start the day! How many others get nice emails sent to them like this? Isn't it refreshing to feel so good after reading them? Do you take them seriously or do you at least say Thank you with a reply?  |

I think the biggest problem you're having is that the local guys who would send a sweet, sensitive email that makes you melt are all too cheap to pay for a membership, and are thus unable to send you said email......... And trust me.....I'll never lose my sense of humor................. If you should die before me, ask if you can bring a friend........

Marco, I SO agree with you. Sometimes it is better to go into a conversation just as you would anywhere else. We wouldnt all go into a conversation right out of the clear blue and start talking about sex if we were meeting outside of the online world. Even when "sex" is totally not part of the conversation (the initial conversation/emails), if and when the time came, it makes it all the more exciting.

Its always something that can throw the entire email off...but youre right. I've received emails from much older men than me who havent got a clue (not even the slightest)on how to hold or even catch my interest. I'm just not very interested in younger men than me. Never was.And...oiy! can some men be so mean when they send an email. Its just so uncalled for. You have a great day too!!!!!!

I know what you mean about guys from this area. Most of them are totally full of themselves and act like jerks. Alot of them think they are god's gift to women and that because they are attractive, they are automatically wanted by every girl they come across. The reality is that most of them suck as people. I happened to get lucky with my guy. It's funny that storm said that about the nice guys being cheap because it's totally true. I ended up with a nice guy from the area and let me tell ya.....he's sooooo cheap. Let's put it this way, last year he finally let me get call waiting.  And just last week, he finally let me get caller ID.  This is after we have been living in the same house for 8 years. OMG!!!!!It's so great that on a site such as this, where there is so much sexual energy going on, there are people on here who are kind enough to send an e-mail like that. Damn, I guess I should stop reading profiles....Just check out all the pics, and then I can be with every other male, rather than going against the "norm". And as far a making me a switch hitter..no way, not gonna happen...ever...lol
