Fear

Ive been very afraid a few times in my life.

Once, when I went to Japan by myself at age 22.

Another time, when I knew I was marrying the wrong guy.

Another time or 3..root canal jobs on my teeth.

Another time when I was supposed to get an MRI..And lately.. dementia in someone close to me is terrifying.

Have you been afraid?

Looking forward to a good year ahead!!

What's the worst that can happen? When you ask yourself that and begin to think about the worst possible scenario, you mentally start to prepare for the worst. Fortunately, seldom the worst does happen.

Yes, I have been very afraid a few times in my life. One of the worst situations was when my (Now ex) husband was close to death. And I was so afraid for him because I was afraid the quality of care was going to be less when we were forced to change doctors.

Dementia is something I've seen in some relatives. You can be afraid for the person or yourself if the person is angry. When they are a danger to themselves or others, you must act in their best interest and seek help.

Never ignore those who care for you

If the person with dementia doesn't act in a violent, angry way, then there is no real reason to be afraid.
