Corsets: how to wear, part 2 The second step, or third really, since I omitted one in the first part (check comments on previous post) is to pull the loose loops in the back. This can take a little while, but if you have done it many times, it becomes quite fast.  You can't really see in this picture the "loops pulling", but you can see they are loose. So I grab the loops with my fingers and pull one by one, from top to the middle, then from bottom to the middle. Think like lacing shoes that have very loose laces, you can't just grab the lace ends and pull it, you have to work each segment. So remember, when you are doing the reverse process, loose some loops first. These tips work for both those who want to learn how to wear a corset, and those who want to learn how to get someone off a corset. All these instructions are for high quality boned corsets. The "lingerie/novelty" kind of corset doesn't require all that. If someone you know is wearing a boned corset, try to follow these steps reverse to get rid of the corset, so you know you won't be damaging something relatively expensive. |
