Cohabiting...

...is a strange thing. Granted, he's been over for extended periods of time before. But now that he's over all the time, it takes a little getting used to I suppose it is both a blessing and a curse that he travels a lot for work. I do miss him but I also relish having my own time. The "getting-used-to-each-other's-quirks" aside, some thing have to change.

For instance, I do not have a door to my bathroom. Never had one for a few good years now. I'm thinking I'm going to install one very soon. We all pee, we all take dumps. I even have a friend who is all about watching his partners do their business. Alas, that is not my thing. We both really don't want to watch each other take our shits. Also, a lot more cleaning is required now. Speaking of which, I was home earlier a few days ago and went through my routine of cleaning up - which was strip, dump my clothes in the machine to do my laundry, then vacuum and mop the place down. He came back midway through and I didn't hear him over the vacuum cleaner roaring away. I turn around literally jumped. He scared the fucking bajeebies outta me cos I didn't hear him come back at all. And he's there, sitting down, with a drink one hand and the other stroking his crotch, smiling at me. Of course, I was in no mood after that

I suppose this will take awhile Then again, having someone else to help clean up is nice too.
