The FrayLook After You
The FrayLook After You If I don't say this now I will surely break As I'm leaving the one I want to take Forgive the urgency but hurry up and wait My heart has started to separate Oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh Be my baby Oh, oh, oh I'll look after you There now, steady love, so few come and don't go Will you won't you, be the one I always know When I'm losing my control, the city spins around You're the only one who knows, you slow it down Oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh Be my baby Oh, oh, oh I'll look after you If ever there was a doubt My love she leans into me This most assuredly counts She says most assuredly Oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh Be my baby I'll look after you It's always have and never hold You've begun to feel like home What's mine is yours to leave or take What's mine is yours to make your own Oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh Be my baby Oh, oh, oh I love this song. I think this song applies to anyone we have any type of relationship with. I always feel like I am just standing still and the people in my life are on an endless parade passing by. It is so hard to watch them come and go. Knowing that ultimately I only want them to stay if they want to. It reminds me of a scene in the NBC show Life. About how the attachements in our lives cause us grief. He is driving a very expensive car like a maniac...lol repeating to himself like a mantra "I am not attached to this car." and then he stops and says "I am a little attached to this car". Like I am a little attached to the people I interact with. |

It's hard not to become attached, for me, when I feel like I have vested time in a relationship of any sort. That's why change is so disturbing sometimes, because you're leaving some of those relationships behind. Great post.

i agree with what has been said here...attachment comes in many ways and in many forms, and is sometimes taken for granted as well....then you do not know until it's gone
