why can't we go green?

I bought a house and then i bought a bunch of tools to use on the house...

yesterday i sat down with the packages of tools and tried to unpackage them. some tin snips (because the scissors weren't strong enough to cut through the plastic), a cut finger (because cut plastic is very sharp) and a squashed boob (i tell you in a sec it will take a paragraph..lol) I got all the tools out of the packages and into the tool box. all the while thinking this is ridiculous. if the manufacturer used half the plastic we would save the environment and my boob...lol

so i have the package wedged between my foot and my shoulder and i have two hands on the tin snips chomping away. to get more leverage I leaned in and squashed my boob between the handles of the tin snips...lol

 Ouch! My condolences for your mammary trauma.

I have one of those cutters, 'as seen on TV' that is designed to cut through those plastic packages. AMAZINGLY, the damned thing really works! I think you can find them at Wal-Mart, The Christmas Tree Shop, or Bed Bath & Beyond.
