that's funny (or sad, not sure if you ever told him your real name)but if he only knows your screen name then its a reasonable question after a few months. should we just cal you 'Vel'?

no he knew my first name...lol we just never got around to last names. we had never exchanged regular emails or im's or he would have known my full name. i don't believe in this fake name crap if i am talking to you or seeing you outside of a website...

this guy had a fake name on his im and i always got confused and kept forgetting what to call him...lol

I don't know the last name of many of the people I communicate with here. If they aren't comfortable sharing it, I can live with it.

Join Channel 13 WHAM's own Don Alhart tonight as he hosts the first annual Telethon to get Velvet and her daughter a last name.

Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where he couldn't remember the womans name he was seeing. Knowing it rhymed with a female body part, he thought it was.... Mulva.

At least he asked. My question is, do you know his? lol

velvt,

I'm terrible with names, I always have been.
A little something I have to do is once I learn someones name that I've met on the internet is I'll add it to their screen name on the my IM list. Still others I'll put it in the comments on my Friends or Hot list. It helps with reminding me regularly.

Many people I know and deal with regularly I have no clue what their last name is, it's not a necessity. Someone I'm dating I usually have the full name and screen name(s) committed to memory by the end of the first month.

Of course pet names have saved my butt more than once.
