M O M

my mom is pretty awesome.

today she calls me up and says did you notice your x husbands wife's hair?

she is way letting her dye job go and your x is probably not giving her the money to get her hair done. so today i am going to tell him it is a bad reflection on him as a husband...

lol

and you know as old fashioned as it sounds, she is right. if they don't have the money for her to get it done professionally then they could just buy a $5 bottle of dye and he could help her do it..

of course this coming from me the woman that refuses to dye her hair even though a tuft of curly gray's is growing in over my right ear...lol

velvt,

Aww come on. An intelligent lady such as you should be familiar with the prayer / adage: Give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.

Where getting your boobs smashed and your butt probed in a very unenjoyable manner are medical necessities. Not to mention some of the other medical joys we have to submit to as we get older.

Tufts of gray hair can be dealt with. They even have products that don't require a full dye job.

I know if mine get past the "distinguished" look I'm going to have to give it some thought. If they don't fall out first.

As for the new wife, she should grow herself a set. Why should you have to stick up for her. He's more her problem now than yours.

velvt,

Ok, I thought, "so today i am going to tell him it is a bad reflection on him as a husband..." was referring to you not Mom.

Don't love it when people feel the need to meddle?

Yup leave it to moms they have a certain way about them don t they? as far as grey I tell people I earned this, This is my badge of honor for putting up with my ex s crap for as long as I did. Anyway If i dyed my beard i would be afraid that it would get wet and start to run. better salt and peppe than an oil slick running down my shirt.

I agree, leave well enough alone.

She may have decided to no longer dye her hair, so the NATURAL color has to grow out.

Hugs and well placed kisses - Chris
