it was the night before the first day of school

now most of the time the dogs and i go to bed and settle right in

but no

not last night when my had to get up at 6:30 am to get ready for the first day of school.

we go upstairs and one has a squeaky ball.

squeak-a squeak-a squeak-a squeak-a squeak-a squeak-a

OMG. kill the dog...lol so i throw the ball out of the room so that she doesn't wake my only to realize

the other has started licking her arm... grab her little head and pull her away as she is trying to playfully chew on me

only to have the other come back and

squeak-a squeak-a squeak-a squeak-a squeak-a in double time... OMG

lucky me the licker woke my enough so that she threw her leg over the squeaker knocking the ball out of her mouth and pinning her to the bed..

i am laughing so hard i can't move but manage to grab the licker...

 My cat plays similar tricks.
He however starts about 30 minutes BEFORE the alarm clock goes off.

 Ahhh ... Yes. More support for the argument, "Why I no longer want or have pets."

My labs favorite trick was depositing the slobber soaked tennis ball in various inconvenient places and usually at even less convenient times.

Don't even ask, just use your imagination and she probably had done it.
