Still friends, but no longer dating.

My lady friend and I have changed the status of our relationship.
We both knew that the philosophical differences between us could be a challenge. Over the past few days, I realized that these differences made the chances for our romantic relationship to be unrealistic. It's all good though, as we plan to remain good friends. After discussing this today, I remained at her house working on her computers until about 10pm.

 Yes it sucks, but as the saying goes - nothing ventured, nothing gained.
We both realized it would be a challenge to get it to work.

 Well it sucks you can't make it work. But I gotta give you props on being open minded about it. I hope things go great for you. She may end up being your best friend, if she isn't already.
