My Journey on AFF

My Gold Ball runs out at the end of June. Because I will be gone most of the summer I am not renewing my membership. I will see if I do truly miss this place over the summer and maybe re-sign up in the fall. I have tried this before and almost didn't come back the last time. Just when I think I've had enough something (or someone) gets me re-charged and I sign up again...lol. But this always seems to be a temporary thing and then I find myself losing interest again.

I find that I am particularly affected when people that I follow and like leave, especially fellow bloggers. I suppose this can only happen so many times before you finally say, "Ok! That's enough! And give up. I have talked to a couple of people who I have met and are no longer on here and to a person they say that they only miss this place sometimes, but on the whole not enough to come back.

Add the frustrating parts of this site, both techincal and people wise and I can definately see why they stop and never restart. I suppose ultimately it is a personal thing, to each their own and what have you...but I am finding that the lure to stay here is very intermittent now. I guess I have been disappointed more than my fair share of the time and am finding that I am not up for it any more.

So when my page is silent for July and August you will know where I am...or better yet, where I am NOT! Lol...

 I know how you feel. My membership is up in October. I have already been thinking about leaving. Still not sure but thinking about it more than I ever had before. Maybe if my health would improve enough I might be back. I would miss reading the blogs and enjoying the stories of people that actually have fun. I still have time to decide so time will tell. Where are you going for the summer?

The wife and I have extensive travel plans...California, Minnesota, BC, and other more local areas...should be fun...
