Coffee, Cam, or Catfish?

Catfish? What?

Catfish... I caught an episode of this show on MTV a little bit ago and was floored by the naivete of some of the people on this show.

But, it is good info for anyone wanting to play online. The premise is that people fall in love online without ever meeting or seeing the object of their affections. The reveal is often hilarious and sometimes emotionally devastating.

Anyone who will not meet for coffee or at least show a dimly lit webcam, is most likely a work of fiction. Now I know there are some taboos involved in being on a site like this. However, if there is no real intention to meet it will be quite evident within minutes of interacting with someone here.

I have personally met someone who had nothing but a grey silhouette as a main photo. She contacted me. She seemed genuine, but it was all fantasy until she turned on her webcam and showed me she was a real person. And of the people who profess to not have a webcam or will not meet for a simple, public, well lit cup of coffee?

Nada, nothing, a complete waste of time...
Not only do they not add anything to the fantasy aspect of this place, they usually only take. And, they embody the persona of the inquisitor.

So, just as a word of note: no pic; no cam; no meet; no nothing. Emotionally you do not exist. Realistically you are a ghost, a figment of the imagination. Which is still ok, just different. You have to keep your fantasy life active. If you can't imagine it? How can you perform it?

If you want to be a fantasy friend, it's cool. You just need to be a dirty one. Tell me all the things you want to do. If you're good, I may even break out of my fantasy cam wanker waving sideshow to try to give you some of my energy as well.
