Ok, here's an idea. If there are members who are willing to be fake-spotters for you, would you take their advice? In my blog, I often point out blindingly obvious fakes, because it's just hilarious when two profiles appear, with the same pics, on the same day, in different countries! Other times, a sequence of names makes it very obvious that someone is playing silly buggers. And then, there are certain pics that are clearly favourites, they're often found online. I've seen some pics, like the firefox girl with blond hair, a few times. But how do I tell you? I'm just a standard member, so I can't open a profile to report to you that the photos aren't kosher. I can tell you that every pic is looked at at then approved or rejected. The people looking at the pics try get all the fakes. It's easy when someone has a pic of Jessica Alba or there is obvious soft lighting and airbrushing. It gets a little harder it's a porn star. I know we are Penthouse, but not all the staff is up on all the porn. It's almost impossible when it's just some hot chick off of Google image search. I know that Apple has some face recognition software that instantly tags pics. Back in March Facebook partnered with a company that does facial scanning algorithms. I don't think they have it working yet. Probably a few more years before you can have computers replace the eyeball. The bigger problem is just straight up fake profiles, especially spammers. From you're perspective, what do we do to stop them? Maybe it's another conversation.

I took a photo of a porn star and cropped it and use the clone brush using Adobe CS4 to removing any identifiable parts of the photo to being only a photo of her ass and submitted it to that profile and it was approved within 15 minutes. I then took my photo and a picture of King Tuts Mask ([post 557815]) merging my face photo on to the Tut mask photo and used the cloning brush to detail it out a little bit. I uploaded that photo 6 times to my profile and it was denied 6 times. Clearly it is my face on the photo; in addition, you can take a look at my photos on my profile and see that along with photos as these below that were approved that were edited with various different high end photo imaging softwares that I have.   - - As for the Spammers (BOTS) that was discussed long ago in the former CEO Andrew Conru Blog of Ideas to combat profile fraud. As I stated in his posting that the only logical way is with the Confirm ID being a mandatory for membership on the site. His reply to that "luvpump replies on 5/29/2006 5:28 pm: Yes, giving more access to confirmID people is a very good idea. It could be used in lieu of the "minimal" fee. I think that the $1 fee would stop a lot of fraud as they would have to mail it from a local location (e.g., nigeria) or use a valid credit card (easier to check for fraud)." Both his and my idea combined would wipe out more than 80% of the fraudulent profiles of spammers and scammers on this site. The problem is that a huge percentage of members do not support the idea for their own personal reasons of feeling that their personal privacy rights and information could be violated or abused. Here are some estimated hypothetical numbers to consider as well and more than likely was brought up in meetings that Andrew had with other high management of the site at the time in concerns to the fake profiles. 98% of all BOTS use female profiles. Eliminating them will decrease the number of females marketed to the males; therefore, decreasing the gross and net (profit) income of the site. The male to female ratio will go from 10-1 to a 20-1. 30+ million registered members would decrease to 15 or 20 million registered members; consequently, losing claim as the largest adult network of members. Kind of a catch22 would you not say Ryan? In my opinion and observations of 13 years as a member of this site Andrew let his greed take over and it became more evident; therefore, placing quality second when it came to lining his pockets. So which one is more important to Penthouse since they own this site now? Quality or the Money?

Ok, on the matter of fakes. Here gud_gurl is a photo I've seen online many a time. Here's another photo I've seen online busty_blondes4u. These two Normaaiops Loisa9usi I think we can agree are the same girl from the same photo shoot, and it's unlikely that she is one year older than herself, living in two different cities. The fact that these three appear consecutively Berniceiaos Jillasiop Darleneaisu in the recent member photo list only tells us that someone was looking at swimwear photos.
