Broadcasters Rejoice! Now You Can Permanently Block! Now we're kicking some ass. This last release was a great one. We added the ability to permanently block anyone from watching your broadcasts. This should be some very welcome news for many of you. Here's how it works: - Go to "My Account Main" - Scroll down to the Preferences section - Click "Blocked Member List" - Add the member you want to Block and check the "View My Broadcast" checkbox If the person you ban will get the "no longer broadcasting" black screen. Then the next time they try to view your broadcast, they will see a message like this:  NOTE on this version: For now the above process involves a little bit of work. In this version of the feature you can't Block someone directly from your broadcast. That means if you click "Ban" during your broadcast the member will be banned from your current session, but not pushed over to your Blocked Member List. You'll need to go to your preferences and manually enter a member. I suggest just opening two screens during your broadcast to make it easy. In future releases we may tie the two together. Ditto what Rdy said. I think you mean "View my broadcast". Btw, don't you know that shouting around here is usually done by using CAPITAL letters and not reducing what you say to size 1, typed in lower case?

 Comm.If I put someone on my Block List by mistake or changed my mind; would I be able to take that person off, and restore to seeing me/my stuff again?  Just to let you know that I have not added anyone, but would like to know if there is that option, please.   <--- Is what I want to be.   <--- But suffer from this on occasion.      Proud Canadian!

Sorry to say this, but I recently tried to ban the person that has been harassing me on this site, and then I got the message "Member not found", even though the stupid guy was still watching my broadcast. Perhaps there is a bug, but I must emphasize that I will not broadcast my webcam if I cannot keep the people who make the experience miserable away from me.

Nevermind, ignore my previous post. I simply typed the name in wrong. However, I will defend a previous poster in saying even with private broadcasts sometimes people can still get in that are not invited. But, for now you fixed one problem and hopefully you are working on the other. Overall thanks for trying make this site a safer place.

LittleTeapot:- If you've blocked someone by accident using this method, you can unblock them again by going into My Preferences - Blocked Members list and just un-ticking their 'block' box.

Is the block member function really working? I stopped caming in early August partly because I am tired of putting the persistently annoying people on my block list and found out later that the block function doesnt work all the time! They can still page me, view my cam even though I have them on my block list. And private caming aint quite working as tishdish223 mentioned. I had at least over 30 people sneaking into my private caming with a hot and spicy girl in July. The one thing that seemed to work is banning them from reading my blog and posting comments on my blog.
