Top Requests for IMC/Broadcast  Hey guys. Thought I'd share with you some more results from our Broadcaster survey. The survey ran for a month and I've read all of the 6000+ responses. My eyes are bleeding, and I had to drink 18 pots of coffee, but I think I can now say I understand what needs to change. We ran this survey because we tried to change the IMC in August and it was NOT a popular change. In fact, you guys hated it. You guys said to keep the current IMC, but fix it. That is exactly what we are setting out to do. The list below is pretty comprehensive, but let me know what you think. I'm going to address the "Just make it work" issue first. That mainly concerns two things: 1) Make the pages go through 2) Keep the broadcasts from dropping Top Requests: * Fix banning in the IMC so that it is tied to the Blocked Member List in preferences (we'll have this in the next week) * Allow a broadcast to be tied to a specific Interest Group chat room * Create page received notifications * Filter the pages so that they are based on cupid settings Changes we can make to paging: * Create an audible notification of incoming pages * Change the verbiage for a "page" for men (to reduce rudeness). You guys have to try to stop saying, "Take it off" to women who are broadcasting. * Make paging more noticeable than they are right now * Make an automated reply for incoming pages * Create page received notifications * Allow broadcasters to create a status message that all viewers can see * Create profile picture thumbs for incoming pages so a broadcaster knows what they look like. * Change the page response choices into check boxes, so you can deny multiple pages at once. * Filter the pages so that they are based on cupid settings Other changes we can make: * Fix banning in the IMC so that it is tied to the Blocked Member List in preferences * Allow a broadcast to be tied to a specific Interest Group chat room * Have sexual preference next to name of viewers (so you know when someone is bi or gay) * It would nice to be able to block out certain area codes. Like we love to cam but we are professional people and it would be so bad if someone from our neighborhood saw us on there * When you view someone privately (by their request) I lose all other viewers who want to watch me (allow others to keep watching me chat to someone * I'd like to see a list of people that watched the cam. Sometime after I switch off, I lose the people that I was interacting with and have no way to find them. |

Sounds good,,,Hope IT works. Something for the IMC~ use the same page for the IMC as the one used for Cams.The current IMC page does NOT allow enough room for a complete sentence... Local Sexy Swingers Parody Of a Real Sex Site

All fine well and good...however since Oct 1st...the ban does dump the offender on your blocked list...or at least it has for me...then I can check the myriad of other boxes to ban them across the board...fix the multiple boxes with a single ban and I think you might be on the right track...I've also noted the G.I.O. has changed it's cam interface...so I imagine some folks complained over there as well...instead of using a "half and half" compromise...you should have rolled it back...'cause it's really full of buggyness...too many to give you here. I second FX's recomendation of the size of the page window...it's small wonder why males resort to "take it off" it's about the only phrase that will fit...

I may like some of this. I personally have noted many times I don't like even turning on my webcam as it is tied to the IMC and I get constantly 'orders' of what to do and most are disgusting things that I wouldn't do ever in five lifetimes. Regardless of the size of the line, too many are giving 'orders' of what to do to people and then getting all pissy when they don't get it. THAT is even worse than the order itself. I HOPE the ban starts working!! Maybe the 'status message' will help a bit... maybe.

GREAT IDEA!! I was just thinking that I personally set my cupid settings to between 80-85 while on cam so that I don't get flooded with moronic emails from those assuming I am on cam .... if you have the cam viewing go with that also.. only 80-85 year olds will see me!! NOOOOOOO lol Can we possibly be able to just 'turn off' our emails??

I almost always only turn on my cam for those in the chat room I'm in. I'd love to have the option to not have the IMC pop up at all or at least be able to post a message like "I'm not answering pages right now".

i think once all these changes take place Local Sexy Swingers needs to send a mass email to everyone informing them of the changes, along with the info on where they can voice likes and dislikes about the changes, along with info on step by step on how to un-ban. I have send an email and voiced a problem lately and no one is listening, the problem is the BAN has gone nuts, is you r on cam and u click the FILTER u end clearing the people u want to but u also clear ppl u dont want to, and where do these cleared ppl go? they r added to your blocked list or BANNED. and then no one has a clue how to un-ban, its great Local Sexy Swingers has fixed the ban but u fixed it too much, back it off a bit, the brodcaster should be the 1 to deside who to BAN, and i still say there should 2 types of ban, 12 hour kick from cam and contact, and BAN till u un-ban. your making alot of good changes, but you MUST inform ppl how to use the changes, if u can send out a news letter that floods my email all the time then u can send 1 that tells changes and what not. my other problem is the "male female gay bi" icon beside a persons name, sometimes they r right and other times they r wrong, y is this a problem? when ppl sign up they either put male or female, so y am i seeing guys in the list show up as females yet the profile shows as male then later on it shows up as male in the list and male in profile, same happens to women, sometimes it shows as male instead of female. y is this soo hard to fix. another thing, y r some words blocked? r blocked but other words r also, like come on its called Local Sexy Swingers, i should be able to use w/e words i want, u just started letting email addys to be posted in Local Sexy Swingers mail so do u think u can list the word blocks in IMC, or do we still get a slap on the hand and and note sent home to mommy. if your gonig to keep the word blocks then make it so after u send the message it comes back saying unable to send and tell the person the "bad word" us ADULTS have used. or how about this 1 post the blocked words on your site,  thatd be too easy, sorry i'm in a venting mood this morning, u would think for a site that is what 13years old some of this stuff would be fixed by now

I will tell you taht I disagree with the pages having more letters as I already have gay men hitting on me with the pages. I dn't need fucking letters written to me in a PAGE. I can only imagine wht the jerks will write to me if they had more letters to do it with. I am new here, but I already know I don't like that shit. A page is a brief snippet to see if someone wants to talk to you, not a form of communication with someone that doesn't want to talk to you and you force them to see it anyway. It's bullshit in my book.

I dont know why ppl r getting all up set about the "Take it off" comments when they r on cam, your on an adult cam site, what do u expect ppl to be asking u to do, knit them a sweater? if your bothered by adult convos then maybe u joined the wrong site, I'm sure there is G rated ones out there for u's like for real ppl I sit here thinking what r ppl thinking.... I don't think most are upset by "take it off" comments. I know I for one could care less about those. I have a problem with these.. "Can you let your dog lick you?" "Can you fist yourself?" "Can you shove that football up there?" "I want to watch you piss on yourself" "Can you shove that coke can up your asshole for me?" "Imagine I am your brother licking your pussyhole" "Imagine I am your father and suck my dick" YES in.cestous crap and asking me to stretch body parts that I have NO intention of diong are 'regularly' asked on here. If you have a pet or anything in the background they will ask without hesitating for you to have sex with it. Again, not all but way too many do it. The issue is exacerbated further because along with the "take it off" comments, we also get the garbage that SadieMaeGlutz mentioned in the comment after yours. Perhaps you should read what she said. I believe the new GetItOn site was created for those that wish to cam to their hearts content and not be bothered by the rest of us who prefer to have more adult interaction than just performing at others whims. Also, just to clarify, since you don't seem to be aware by your comments, there are over a dozen different sites that feed into this one and they each have a different market they attempt to attract from lesbians, to dating, to long term and romance. So obviously it isn't just one person 'in here' that posted it, some 6000+ people voted on this. THAT is where it was from. It may be an 'adult site' but you don't need to treat us like pieces of meat. That is not 'adult' behavior. SOME 15 OR MORE SITES LOG IN HERE... NOT ALL ARE SEX BASED and I think you fail to realize that. And to expect someone that signed in for say Passion (listed as the Leading personals network for dating, romance, and marriage) is NOT going to be expecting someone to yell out "take it off!!" to her. Many MEN don't like the guys with this behavior also. It ruins it for them when women get skeptical and start judging all men with one paint brush. Should I also point out that Lesbians Personals is here also?? I am SURE they are not wanting to take it off for MEN yelling at them. I just noticed that Ryan himself posted Straight Men Get Annoyed by Gay Men Why Do You Answer Pages so obviously men don't like getting certain pages either. I am not on cam, but I know I wouldn't like a guy asking me to show him my dick either. Should I 'grow up' and get off the site also? I didn't sign into a gay man's site and I don't think I should be expecting it, so why should women? It seems there is a majority not liking the things said and if it is a problem, then something should be done.

I disagree. That is not ADULT behavior on this site. They don't have the right to tell me anything their small head can think of. I won't be bullied by anyone. Before you go further, I will state that if someone does tell me to "take it off" or some similar thing, I simply decline their page. I rarely report anyone. It's still my right to report another member as it is any one else's if they feel they are being harassed in any way. Please educate yourself on the masses of why people are actually here and not just your limited view of why folks should be here.
