UPDATE: The results of the second opinion Last week we took Lil' Metal to Strong Hospital in Rochester for a second opinion. The head of the Pediatric Neurosurgery told us that he pretty much agreed with the opinion of Upstate Medical Center. HOWEVER, he told us that there is a significant chance that the tumor will bleed again, there is just no way of knowing how much or when.  He told us the same thing, to go home and monitor him for symptoms and pray for the best. I don't know what else to say right now. I'm rattled over this but I'm trying to deal. I think I'm doing okay for the most part. I've been put on Paxil and all suicidal thoughts are about gone. I'm not the most religious person on Earth but I don't want to take the chance that I really will burn in Hell for eternity if I do something stupid. If there is an afterlife I want to spend it with my loved ones  A note to my friend who is leaving Blogland: Sorry I haven't been around here much, I know you understand why. Hang in there, we're all pulling for the Lil Nipper! Keep an eye on side effects w/Paxil...I tried it, great for a week or two, but made me sleepy and tired, especially Mr. Happy. But that's just me, never know how someone will react.  "You can't fix stupid...."
