Ho! Ho! Ho!
MERRY CHRISTMAS maggee!
I have played Santa for 27 years and I tell folks the spirit of Santa lives within. Kids that sat on my knee 20+ years ago now have their kids sit on my knee. The first time I wore the suit that the wife made me, my Dad (RIP) sat on my knee and didn't recognize me. When he found out, he cried......he always wanted someone in the family to do this!

I let my parents know that I knew by putting a stocking out for them and filling it with gifts from "Santa". .. I had to keep up the routine for a couple of years after that.

Read my diary Journal of a Taxi Driver for taxi stories and pictures of flowers and trees.

Very good moves Mom .... I remember when my son came to me with tears in his eyes about a problem he had but he didn't want to hurt my feelings or anger me .... we sat down on the dugout bench and he said, "Dad, I know how important Baseball is to you but I really don't like it. I felt awful that I had actually made him feel the way he did. it was an eye opener for me but we never spoke of it again and I told him not to feel it was necessary that he make me happy if he didn't care for something that I did. We hugged and just ended that and all following conversations with I love you.
