 Roger Maris was no Carly Simon but in the early part of July '61 this 12 year old was walking down a street in Roselle , NJ when this man stops us to ask where a bowling alley is.... I recognized him immediately and was somewhat stunned but I tell him and he started asking my buddy and I if we liked baseball. We talked, he talked to us for about 5 minutes. Neither one of us were believed by our Dads when we got home that night . Those moments are so precious in our younger years especially. Thank you
