Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to my first blog entry. I've never had a need to start blogging, but figured this is a great way to test my skills.

Now, what shall we talk about?? Hummm...

How about the whole BBW thing? I mean... there's this whole internet sex industry focused on it - heck there's even a room dedicated to it on here, and I still find it rather frustrating. There's this preconceived idea of what BBW are like.

Oh and for clarification it stands for Big Beautiful Women; I've argued about that one, so just to be clear... big and beautiful, not any other B words! *grin*

Just because a woman isn't YOUR typical idea of what sexy or beautiful is doesn't mean she's lacking in self-esteem. Or better yet, when a guy shows an interest I won't just fall over myself to make them happy.

It doesn't work that way for me and it really gets under my skin when there's that expectation. Maybe I'm wrong though? Maybe it has nothing to do with being a BBW and these guys are like this with every woman they meet?

 Yeah, it's hard to take a full body picture by yourself but rest assured I'm on the plus size of things.

I think you're right... the thrill has been completely lost on some. Especially the art of conversation and getting to know someone.

 well i dont view any negativity towards anyone if i like the girl i like her and thats that if anything i have a prefferance towards girls on the plus side but if a thinner girl comes along thats fine too

 Its more the conversation and personality the package a person is wrapped in is secondary. To discount someone strictly on looks can rob a person of some really great experiences.

 Confidence is sexy in either gender, regardless of shape.

The ideal shape and form of women's bodies changes according to fashion and cultural expectations. Our time is skewed by a different standard of "normal". Hence, the quaint use of the term "Rubenesque" when referring to an era when BBW was more the ideal.

Individual preferences are what really matter. Some men are attracted to BBW because they associate this with bounty, appetites for pleasure, and unabashed confidence in being exactly who they are.

 Variety is the spice of life.We are who we are,big or small.The bbw's I have spoken with all say the same thing,men want barbie.

In reality men don't really want Barbie,they are just to shy to admit that larger women turn them on.Society has made people believe that with a few extra pounds you are not as capable as a skinny person,well I have one thing to say to those people,"GET A LIFE".

Besides there is always more to a person then their size,there is their intelligience, sense of humour and attitude towards life and others.

I could go on and on but is it really necessary.If you like you then screw those that don't,and not that way either,lol.
