Pythagoras' spheres serenade
I know you're out there
Swimming through nebulae
Flirting far acidic stars
Suddenly every cell sings
You're very aching near
My blood smells your gut
My eyes taste you quickening
Hastily, I palm a stone
Casting your effigy from mud
It vibrates with nuclear glow
I offer everything I know:
Washing your righteous flanks,
Hair perfuming them with oil
Slaughter, I, the fattened calf
Ankle-deep in rich blood
I boil entrails in golden cauldron
I play upon my garish Welsh harp
Spinning holy squalid ecstasies
sweat glistens upon nimble skin
I prostrate myself before you…
Hot, heavy flood of incantations
My skull trembles, brink of bursting
A torrent rising, arid sulfur yellow
Dangerous, this wisdom murk deluge
Lust panting lips, chaff-opening
Shadow form want, hover-gazing
