Recent Visitors

The list of people who have viewed my blog is fascinating.

One, the list of recent visitors doesn't begin to match the number of views...or at least I don't think it does. Honey Bunny *might* have looked at my most recent post (and picture) 13 times...but I'd be surprised. And flattered.

Two, how did these people find me? A few names I recognize, but most I don't. I need to work harder at finding people I want to read.

Three, many of the recent visitors, might be surprised by who else is looking. 70 year-old man from Ashland, Ohio, United States (July 2) meet 24 year-old man from Adelaide, South Australia, Australia (July 1).

Four, "people who like this blog also like...". Not only do the people who read what I've written vary, but *who* else they've read as well. The only connection between me and several of the other blogs is readers in common.

Five, comments. The gap between views and comments is huge! How many people think about posting a comment and then don't?

Do the people I'm viewing notice me? Do they wonder who I am? Do they look back?

The blogs are the most interesting part of the website.

If I could make a change it would be: blogs need tags and to be able to search using tags. Finding blogs with common themes and subjects would add to the experience.

I'll check the FAQs to see if they explain why they aeen't there and or find a place to suggest them.

I agree with you. Blogging or at least responding to blogs is fun. There are several out there that well in my point of view are to dragged out or simple poems that are readable but dont require a response. This site also generates profiles that might fit your likings and sends them around the world. Peeking is also fun. Hint, I usually check back on blogs that I have responded to, to see if there are any responses to mine. Have a great day!!!

So many people flit from here to there... hoping to garner a gem among rants and shorts. So many people just don't understand the only thing we get as bloggers to say "Yes I like this type of thing" are through comments, or lack of.

In a lot of cases, standard members hunt blogs, looking to find local member that interests them. Alot of people have "pinned" a topic at the top of the blog where standard can message them.

Now heres the wierd fact

My blog is 3 days old. But I have 3 other members listed as viewed my blog. In march, april and july.

This site does still seem to have a few bugs to work out.
