I really like this photo...and yes, we are a desert climate. Can you say drought-tolerant landscaping? I absolutely hate King Palms. Queens are a bit better, but they are the stupidest trees in general...providing no shade to speak of...but you see them everywhere here because they don't need much water.

These kind of look like cheese naks, don't they ... except with fuzz on the sides!
Have to be VERY careful around these plants, you never know when
you'll get pricked!
