 I've been told I have a 'very' naughty, even "sneaky", left hand P! Truly - so what you said at the end - with my left, I could be an expert?! Is there a diff when it comes to "scissors"?! Can't you just grab it with any hand?! Hope you had a very sexy "Lefty" Day!

There is one major diff between L scissors and R scissors, and depending on manufacturer, sometimes two major differences.
First is whether the "cutting" blade is on top, and controlled by the thumb, while giving a clear sight of the cutting line.
Second, in some designs, that R scissor thumb loop is contoured for the right thumb's direction.
When a lefty uses it, its contour will actually go against the direction of the thumb and dig in. It really hurts, esp when cutting stiff things!!
"Universal" scissors are only slightly better...no thumb contours to dig in, but the cutting blade is still on the wrong side for a lefty.

Butt, that being said, I know some parts of you I'd like to just grab onto with "any" hand!!! or both!!!
