Why do people lie about their status on their profile?

Ok this is a pet peeve of mine men & women who but single on the profile when they are married or attached. Another pet peeve is people's profile that say absolutely no married men/women yet they have friends that are married. Now I understand people can just be friends but over all most people on here are looking to "hook up" . Anyone else find this annoying?

 They lie, because they can for one. This site doesn't care what or who you are. Just gotta blockem and move on. I only chat and blog for that reason.

 Just for the recorded I am married and cheating however my profile states that in more then one place. Married is my status and I also say so in the body of my profile. I am not pointing fingers at married people just find it a pet peeve that they miss lead people. Granted those of us ( and their r many) that are here without ours spouses consent are being deceitful .

 I agree with you on this one Bed. It bugs me when I click onto the profile of a supposedly single female only to find that it's a couple, she doesn't play alone, not interested in single men, blah, blah, blah... I respect you for being upfront with your situation, and certainly won't judge you for your actions. None of us are pure and perfect, nor would I want to be so. LOL
