Upon Further Investigation...

It has been discovered there was a concerted effort by the attackers to take over the base of operations.

Two more bodies where discovered this morning caught where they had attempted covert entry into the premises on the lower level.

Two more bodies where discovered on the subsequent search of the upper levels. It does appear from the expected TOD of the upper level intruders that they had been caught during an earlier attempted mission to gain entry through the attic.

It appears the culprit caught in the attempted take over of the inner sanctuary was the actual ring leader as he was larger than the others and managed to penetrate the defenses and gained entry to the very innermost and previously thought to be secure foundation support.

It seems the security will have to be re-assessed and the level of detection and apprehension devices increased to accommodate the increase in threat level.

It was determined by the powers that be that autopsies would not be necessary as the COD was very evident. So a brief ceremony was performed and the assassins were laid to rest.

I've got a stone foundation and there is a spot where I removed some stones to install a beam under the sagging floor. I haven't replaced the stone yet so they can come through the insulation there not to mention the other locations with small little holes. So it is a never ending battle. As long as they are the ones suffering the casualties I'm "wining."

Hmmm, that's not a bad idea. I believe they can swim though so I would have to have alligators or sea monsters to inhabit the mote.
