Anyhow, REAL self-confidence (as opposed to the Participation Trophy assigned false type) is so lacking in today's politically correct world where so many feel they have to put others down. And on THIS site of all places? In my Another Phony Profile section of a Blog I got a pretty nasty comment too that looks like it was deleted . . . maybe a pang of guilt on their part? "To thine own self be true" . . . maybe Shakespeare's greatest 6 words.

It is odd how we stereotype people, in your case (and mine), is the colour of your hair. What is much more important is the whole person. As I have very grey/white hair people think of my as old and decrepit. I know I am not and don't care what others think as that is their problem. Joy, I am a week behind in reading blogs, was very ill, so I havnt read the comments you speak of. But, in my time, I have developed a preference for redheads, tho have had women will all hair colors, some not found in nature, and while I would like to think hair color influences attitude, I havnt really found it so. What I have found however, is that women of certain ethnic backgrounds tend to have similar attitudes, AND that those women seem to be more often redheads than any other color. I think it falls back to upbringing, and the influence the parents had of the gal as she was growing up. My current FWB is a redhead, the mother of 4 gals, all redheads too, and the grandmother of 6 grand-daughters, 3 of whom are active to her knowledge, and they all seem to have inherited HER attitude towards funn. As to the younger 3, well, one is prob certain to follow granny's attitude, the other 2 seem to have much influence from their dads. BTW, all 6 gals are also redheads !
