Why do people do this?
Why do people put their feet on the Dash of a car that has air bags? Ladies do you not know the damage this will cause to your hips pelvis and reproductive systems. An air bag deploys at roughly 2500th feet per second. That is roughly 30 miles an hour. Just think of what that will do to your legs hips pelvis reproductive system.
Not sure if there’s been any studies done but I can imagine it would be pretty. You just might it want to think about it twice before putting your legs in front of that your bag.

Guys you might want to think twice about doing the same thing that is if you intend to use your deck for something other than a hand rest

 Riding like that is just plain dangerous before everything had airbags. Plus it really looks stupid

 Right....great post. Years ago before air bags, my friend and I would head to the beach in San Diego when school was out for summer. I aways drove because I had the car, and she would stick her bare right foot out the window on the passenger side and rest it on the side mirror. One time traffic was slow on the freeway and we were just creeping along. All of a sudden a cop on a motorcycle flew up on her side and tickled her foot! Scared her to death and he said loudly "feet stay inside the car! Thats dangerous!" Then he sped away on his bike....from that day on she never rested her bare foot outside the car again. Sometimes we still mention that time so long ago when we chat....It was a fun and innocent time back then.
