Is It Me? Pictures and the Internet I received a message recently from someone I’ve been chatting with online for a few months. They sent me a link to porn website that has some pictures of a woman that looks a lot like me. I’m not sharing the link to the website because my antivirus software tagged it as having a virus. My online “friends” almost demanded that I prove that I’m real because there are pictures of someone else that looks like me. They wanted an explanation of the pictures on the website. I’ve been explaining things about myself since I got pregnant when I was 17. I had to explain that I did nothing to cause my to be born premature and blind. I had to explain why I “laid around” in the hospital for two months before I took my baby home. I had to explain why I divorced a man who didn’t love me and had no interest in women. Now from time-to-time someone finds a picture of a woman that looks like me and asks if it’s me. Some of these pictures are on porn sites, some on Facebook or some other social media site. I’ve had to explain that those pictures are not pictures of me. This is why my profile on Local Sexy Swingers starts out stating I do not send posed pictures or do live webcam to prove I’m real. I’m tired of trying to explain things I have no control over, like pictures of women that look somewhat like me. As I state in my profile, if you don’t think I’m real, don’t contact me. I'm not as naive as I used to be.  |

Sylvia, you have absolutely NO reason to explain yourself to anyone for any reason whatsoever, so just tell them to "fuck off!". They have no reason to question you about anything, so don't even bother with them!

I was going to delete this post because I was angry when I wrote. After reading your responses I decided to leave it up. Thank you for your support and words of encouragement. I'm not as naive as I used to be.

You know, unless you plan to meet someone, whether that someone is "real" is irrelevant. I got into an argument with someone an a chat room once about this. The person got mad at me for conversing with a "known fake." I said a please conversation and since I had no interest in a personal encounter why do I care what the individual actually looked like? Screw what other people think...this isn't about them or having to prove yourself to every troll on the net. It is about you exploring and having fun...besides you have met people from here that can validate who you are or what your all about.

I've put up with all kinds of idiots in my life. One thing I have learned is I am who I am, and those that don't like it can get over it. And I work with the public.........................but I'm still not gonna kiss some fools ass. Stick to your guns. I think from what I've read , that you wrote, your a tough smart woman that does things the way she wants to. Enjoy.
