Mary did you know.....

a few days ago i was at work listening to some of the most gawd awful Christmas music that plays this time of year. one of the songs was "Mary did you know". The singers were talking as if in third person to Mary the Mother of Christ.... saying "do you know your will heal the lame cause the deaf to speak and all these other good things"

i could not help but think...

Mary do you know that in years hence men will murder... torture... burn ...pillage ...discriminate and commit all manner of other evils and cupidity using your 's name as a justification?

 Oh the music this time of year!

It is unavoidable at times. .. And I would think of something like that too.

 When I worked retail they started our mental and aural torture on Oct 1-
Mary was gone by day 15
