Shades of Blue Upon a Shooting Star

Shades of blue and shooting stars
Lay within this weary heart
A smirk, a snort, is what they bring
Amazing how laughter can make you sing

A healing heart sewn with threads of blue
A Stargazr with shades of purples
A friendship glows like my favorite flower
Smiles and sunshine is what they shower

I lay and watch my shooting star
Wishing upon it her days will shine as I see her
While beaming lights of blue cast over my sky
Both knowing they make my heart fly

So know there is hope for a weary heart
Just find a shooting star and splash out your pain with the color blue
For both know how to bring out the colors of your soul
Just by the joy they bring they will make you whole
