 Me personally don't use them on myself. I found out a woman likes all kinds of toys to play with.  we have been using a vibe that is like a hitachi wand, with an electrical stimulator on the head also. (hey one of the GF's insisted on getting it)
The vibe is usually up to 5, while the zap is usually at 1 and button triggered.

Butt plugs have also been used, and a crop and some velcro bondage straps that make it easier to hold the legs up.
