I am not done bitching.

Man, this is not the morning for me. I have a list of bitches a mile long, but a few of them take the headlines.

A few days ago, on nationwide tv I heard someone discussing the fact that they no longer need to teach cursive writing in the schools to . Apparently, they seem to believe that just because there are so many computers around NO ONE WRITES anything any more.

Like how the hell dumb is THAT. All they are teaching the to write cursive is their NAME so they can sign it and legal documents. Lets just dumb down America some more. There is a very old saying that goes "Knowledge is power" so I guess we want a generation of powerless idiots that can't read, or do math without a machine as our future.

Now you say, that is dumb, no one would do that. GUESS AGAIN. My daughters best friends who is 19 years old, received a christmas card from her grandmother. Grandma, WROTE a letter in it for her. She had to give it to her mother to READ TO HER. They had already instituted this bit of idiocy in her school. She cannot read a single word WRITTEN. The mom said the school had a meeting several years ago, when this came up, she had attended and voiced her displeasure and was against the idea. So were many other parents, but hey what do we know!! The school quit teaching it.

It might just shock some dumbassed people out there, that NOT EVERYONE has a freaking COMPUTER. I know many who DO NOT. And lets not forget there are quite a few that still have ANALOG lines because they cannot AFFORD cable or anything else to speed it up.

Ok, thats the first bitch. Here is my second on. For the first time in 50 years, yes FIFTY YEARS, an elected President, opted to NOT ATTEND THE INAUGURAL BALL for the CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR RECIPIENTS. Yep, there was an article in a cleveland newspaper that wrote the entire thing up for the world to read. How spectacular is THAT. The very people who defended this country at the risk of their life, above and BEYOND the call of duty and they got IGNORED.

The Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball was begun in 1953 for President Dwight Eisenhower's inauguration. The event recognized recipients of the Medal of Honor, the nation's highest military award. There were 48 Medal of Honor recipients in attendance, who were undoubtedly disappointed by the Commander-in-Chief's failure to show. Over the past 56 years and 14 inaugurations, no President has skipped this event - until now.

The Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball is sponsored by the American Legion, and co-sponsored by 13 other veteran's service organizations, including those such as the Paralyzed Veterans of America and the Military Order of the Purple Heart.

He attended 10 other balls that night, but he could NOT spare 10 minutes of his precious time to honor these men that SERVE UNDER HIM. He is their NEW Commander in Chief. What a wonderful way for him to thank them!!.

Yes, I am pissed and big time over this.

Instead of attending this ball honoring our nation's heroes, Obama was busy making stops at 10 other official balls. Obama and his wife's first stop was at the Neighborhood Ball. From there they went to the Home State Ball for Illinois and Hawaii, the Commander-in-Chief Ball, the Youth Inaugural Ball, and the Home State Ball for Delaware and Pennsylvania. They finished off the night with brief appearances at the Mid-Atlantic, Western, Midwest, Eastern, and Southern regional Balls.

Guess he couldn't stand to be around honorable men, where he wasn't the center of attraction. Only president in fifty years to snub the heroes. Yep....we got change alright and obviously not for the better.

 The school thing is stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid. Even if you have a computer there's things handwriting is more suitable for - like general note-taking, planning, shopping lists, etc. Which idiots make these stupid rules?

 I have no clue Haver, but like you I said the same thing, not enough stupids to cover it all. Here she is 19 and had to have her mother read her mail for her, how dumb is THAT.

The only thing they teach them is how to write their name other than that, nada. How sad this one is.
