Cats - Virtual symposium entry I kept an eye on the voting and saw that sex and cats were neck and neck; hoping that sex would win, but feeling cats probably would. So, I wrote a poem about cats as a preemptive strike!. what the hell am I supposed to say about cats furry little beasts that scratch you scratch up your furniture yet they are so addictive their purr is so intoxicating as they gently rub up against you they can be so affectionate and they are so clean since I am a clean freak it's like we share a common interest we like things nice and clean neat and tidy even when going to the bathroom let's bury the evidence and forget it ever happened and they don't bark they just go meow now isn't that the cutest little noise and that independent spirit don't bother me right now can't you see I'm sleeping I'm trying to relax here I'll let you know when you can pet me but you better watch out they'll eat you or leave you dead and torn up on the front porch or worse on the living room carpet damn cat you either love em or you hate em well that's enough about cats what the hell am I supposed to say about cats anyway I'm a guy guys don't talk about cats  |

Rick, I had a dog named Kitkat, which is the reason behind my profile name. Interestingly enough, she was like a cat in many ways. That breed tends to be like that. I like the way the poem ended. ha! kk
