Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is not advocating for complete socialism. But only aspects of socialism within our democracy. Such as free healthcare free college free trade school. If you listen to her very carefully she is advocating for the people not the corporations. There are currently countries who have very successfully Incorporated a social democracy, for example Sweden Denmark Norway Iceland Finland. The so-called Nordic model.

The biggest problem associated with Socialism is that many of the countries have also be dictatorships. However not ALL are:
