 WTF?

I am 7 years older than you, and have to get a medical form completed, because I'm diabetic. I think this is because my Dr informed the Motor Vehicle Branch, and not because I've ever answered any questions about my health, when renewing my drivers licence.

Thank Gawd, we don't get asked this kind of question.

 I suppose it could be worse.Like having your kids tying a long string on your belt loop when you're at home just so they can find you in house.

 So... its ok to have a serious medical condition just after renewing your license... you just can't have a serious condition within a year of renewal.
Makes perfect sense... NOT!!!

 Well... You found it. Hope it wasn't too much of a cluster f.. ck.. At the very least - you have some spare cards and ID s . Hmmm yep.. It's happened to me - keys to my car.. I'll get around to repairing the hole that is punched in my wall.... one day....

I had to request a hearing to retain my DL since the Drs office never found the paperwork. I called the state DPS office and they said there wasn't enough time to send out another form. I had to fax my request so I'm waiting to either get a court hearing date or to hear that they never got my fax and they've revoked my license. Such a cluster fuck.

 Here's a new one..... a friend has a part time position as a bus aid for a local school district. She assists with the children as the bus driver drives.
The driver makes more money than the assistant.
One of her drivers had a heart attack... survived, came back to work and now cannot drive for a year.
Got demoted to an assistant and at assistant pay.
Pour fella but... I guess you gotta 'think of the children!.

That blows! I know that people that have open heart surgery can't drive for a period of time, but had I gone in a week earlier when I felt the burn it would have been an outpatient procedure. I'm sure once the Medical Review Board sees my file my license will be reinstated.
