AFF is a ripoff

So, for the last two months, I upgraded my membership to gold. It's nice to be able to view profiles and exchange messages. The problems I have are so many female bots, IM that works 1% of the time, and fake people. Why do men pay for a membership when females don't? I mean I get it, this site is mostly a sausage fest. So attracting more women is a great way to bring in more ladies. But even still, I get bot IMs from bots that don't match my profile, my messages don't go through to legitimate members, or people just don't respond (likely because the IM sucks). I have purchased points and tipped non paying members so they could message back and they can't/don't. Perhaps I'm just not what some are looking for. But I do believe the site INTENTIONALLY doesn't work, so it can suck up $$$ and rip people off. Anyone feel the same way? Sound off in the comments!

 I totally agree with you. I was a paying member for about 6 months once.....once.
I refuse to pay for it anymore as it is a ripoff to guys. Same experience, bots, IM not working most of the time. IM won't even let you give another way for people to contact you unless you get creative with the message.
I get on here mainly to kill some time once in a while. It's interesting but nothing I would pay for ever again.
