If one of you was running late for a date, would you call him/ her?
When you were five minutes late and say you're on your way.
Before actually showing up late--that's the most considerate thing to do.

 I hate being late and let the lady wait for me.. I would never be late.. in Any circumstances if i get late.. I would definitely intimate her well in advance so she can make good use of the time she gets...
