So curious but yet so nervous

The one thing I really don't understand about me is that I look on this website and I see so many things that excite me and make we so very wet and curious. But when it comes to meeting people I'm very unnerved. I wonder if that's something that will fade. I'm not sure that it will I have been on this site for a while and I still get so nervous when I decide somebody. But it sucks cause I feel like I'm missing out on opportunities that could be very pleasurable and exciting for me in many more ways then one. I wish there was away I could be more comfortable without having to feel any way or think so hard. Just some random thoughts hopefully that will get me real answers

 The nerves are a natural response to the unknown. It is good and important as it will keep you safe - while many are good folks looking for a good time there are some who go too far and handful who are dangerous. Going slow is a good time.  All things that are worth doing usually involve some elements of risk. The nervous energy you feel can be used to enhance the experience for you.
