what makes this site fun and not so much fun

this place has its moments where it rocks, finding people who like the same things, making great and long lasting friendships, and hot freaky fun. but there are some draw backs like old married men who prrtend to be yoing single men, men who try to pay women for certian things like they are gold diggers, then men who try to pressure someone to meet. anyone else having these problems?

 I often wonder why I keep up my gold membership. I guess it's because I enjoy looking through the photos and videos. I often comment of photos, but if a woman's preferences don't include men my age or whatever then I don't press the matter. I must admit, however, that I have met several women from this site the past few years, and all were worthwhile. My major complaint is the number of fakes and scams. I almost never get a flirt or IM or message from a genuine person. Most are offshore bots looking to redirect curious/gullible men to other sites, etc. Also, even though I'm straight and not interested in men I still get men commenting and liking my pics or making sexual advances. I usually just remind them that I'm straight, and that they really should read profiles before hitting on someone.
