Oooops.... Was that funny? After a while? Hey... And I'm sure there are a dozen other anecdotes. Right? Blog worthy? ðĪ So... then what happened... ? These days - if it were with the right group of friends - I don't think it would bother me so much or at all. I posted a series of blogs about this relationship when I was new blogger back in 2006. I think hardly anyone found it interesting, but at the time, it was cathartic for me  I probably wouldn't have remembered this Thanksgiving incident except for the fact that I've recently been saving off old blog posts.

Perhaps Paul, not planning anything, just "doing" on impulse?! One thing for sure, doing different, and keeping your relationship exciting - hopefully that could be possible?! When I was planning my wedding, it was common to invite immediate family, eg. a brother or sister to be in the wedding party. Since I didn't have a sister, I asked my sister-in-law to be, to be a bridesmaid. A few months later, she announced she was pregnant with a due date of 2 months after the wedding. I had visions of all kinds of problems, i.e. getting a dresses, her discomfort, etc. I 'uninvited' her to be in the wedding party. Amongst other issues, the wedding day was less than a joyous occasion with a very perceptible divide amongst the guests!
