More than words. There were days, far away, where the sun seemed brighter the air was different. The is not the blue everywhere. The crunch of other earth, each place is unique foot. The water tastes separate of home, you recognize it when you suddenly realize you missed it. There was a lot of squinting in the past. Walking watching it all happen as if it were a film, you should be in the dark eating pop corn sharing a soda with a date, this all unfolding like a story someone else is telling you. You know all the details already. The colors are real because you saw them, you tasted the dust. You walked in real time in slow motion, feet heavy, gravity pulling back against you. Next thing you know you are driving along a thin ribbon of road in a land so green, you pull over, shut off the engine, get just stand there looking at all of it, soaking it in. You remember is gone, time snaps like a twig. You are in the forest, the deer heard it break. White tail like a flag, bounces away from you. Snow now covers the ground, you are hunting., searching, sometimes finding what you seek. Still being careful of where you put your feet. Steps should be considered, always considered. It will all go with waiting for it. It will all go in that direction, all of it, heading the place whether you worked hard at it or worked a little, loved a little took a nap. You will understand or maybe you wont, not for say.
