I was playing around on IM, I engaged someone who actually responded but,
they just could not seem to put a complete sentence together or respond with anything other that a one or two word response,,,this was a 56 year old woman.

I am a Thanksgiving baby, but it seems the holiday is overlooked now and reduced to a simple get a full belly and go shopping holiday,,,,,,,what ever happened to the over the river and through the wood to grandmothers house we go.

In the last couple of days I've been put on hold,

-esterday I went to homecoming of a school that I attended as a grad student and where I serve now as a board member. Needless, to say it was different, because as a grad student you just don't have all the feel good undergrad stories, adventures and angst. As a grad student you go to school get the knowledge and keep it moving.
