Any infraction of these rules shall be investigated and dealt with appropriately.We strive to provide for you a place where all feel free to pursue their lifestyle in a friendly, safe, discreet and secure environment. We have set out these rules and ask for your co-operation in abiding by them for the sake of everyone attending.
1) Courtesy: Treat everyone like you want to be treated. With respect, dignity, and courtesy.
2) Pressure: Everyone should feel comfortable and at ease. It is important that people not feel any pressure to interact, dance or whatever.
3) No Means NO!: If you ask someone to dance, for a phone number, to a party... And they say NO, than you are expected not to ask again. If they change their minds they will come to you.
4) No Drunken Behaviour: If you become overly intoxicated and are too rowdy, you will be asked to leave. (You know your own limits).
5) Absolutely NO Drugs: There are no Drugs permitted at any function. Anyone even suspected of having Drugs on them will be asked to leave and banned from further admission. What you do in the privacy of your own room is up to you, but do not bring Drugs to any function.
6) No Cameras Or Camera Phones Allowed at Functions: There are few exceptions and you will be notified prior to these special events.
7) No Obscenity: Dances are open and liberal but not to the point of offensiveness .Drugs Obscenity means; The unwanted exposure of, or touching of the genital, pubic hair, pubic hair area, anus, cleft of the buttocks, vulva, or female breast nipples at a function with the intent of arousing sexual desire or sexually offensive. What you do reflects upon us all and can jeopardize everyone's sense of security.
8 ) Alcohol & Drinks: You are not permitted to bring any type of beverage into a function where beverages are being sold, this includes a drink that may have been purchased at the bar that you left the function with, you will not be permitted to bring it back into the function, all glasses must be empty upon returning to the function.
9) Singles: Single men are not allowed without a date or without a couple signing them in and someone from the club committee would have to meet with you unless the committee already knows you.
10) Management reserves the right to refuse entry or service to anyone: These rules are not meant to inhibit your enjoyment but to ensure it. Any infraction of these rules shall be investigated and dealt with appropriately.

regarding the smoking room

As much as I do hate the politics there seems to be some BS going on about the smoking room Club SOS provides. Verna And I as SOS owners felt when the new law came into effect that there was no smoking in public that we would provide a private room for our members to be able to smoke in so we started renting the room across from the dance hall. It is a place meant for members attending the function to be able to go have a smoke.We do allow drinks to be taken in this room as we understand the cost of drinks is expensive in the dance hall. We do expect anyone in the smoking room to have a bracelet as this is the way we cover the cost of all the festivities that go on at an SOS dance.
We are just stating facts and we ask all members to not reply in a favorable or unfavorable way as it will not be posted here.
Verna and I feel that this shouldn't even have to be posted but a few members are questioning why these people are upset about this. In September I had a few new members question me on why there was people in the smoking room without bracelets and who were they. It was very hard to explain so We decided that no one should be in there without a bracelet. And yes we do rent that room same as anyone would rent a junior suite (79+tax)So SOS does control this room
