Watching an old episode of Mad Men, I realized something. It used to be, when I went out for drinks and ended up going home with someone, I heard stories. The guy would always started talking, usually a lot. I really enjoyed that. I liked having a few drinks, being a little buzzed while having sex, then just laying there, smoking, listening to him talk. I really miss that. Now, I don't smoke. I don't usually drink when I have someone over. Maybe I should start. But when did guys stop talking? Where did that go? Does anybody have any ideas?

I'm amazed, astounded. There are so many fun things two people can do together naked, right? I was emailed by a guy who said he was interested in a fuck buddy relationship, not erotic chat. That's what I want too. We talked for a bit, and I noticed he talked a little funny but nothing I could put my finger on. So, I limited our talk and arranged to meet in person. Just before we were supposed to meet, I asked him how old his pic was. He said a few days old. I said, well according to your profile, you have short hair. But in your pic, your hair goes all the way to your shoulders. He got upset, started saying things like, "First you say you want to meet, then you say you don't, etc." I told him, "I never said I didn't want to meet, just wondering about the inconsistency." He said he grew his hair out and his profile was written some time ago. So I went back to his profile to check when it was written, and I couldn't view it. THAT should have been my first clue! But I went to meet him anyway. Of course, he stood me up! When I came home, I checked his profile, and he had a new pic up! This one with short hair! And it was a completely different face! And I was still blocked. (I could see the pic because even when you are blocked, you still show up in hotlist.) So, I feel bad because I pointed out the inconsistency to him and he corrected it, so now he can play stupid games with other women too. Sometimes I think it's easier to NOT tell a guy why you are rejecting him, because when you do, he can just correct it for the next poor victim. So, is this an playing games? If it is, that's one good reason to not engage in erotic chat. I don't understand what his game was though. Any ideas?
