Subject: hello

hi i looked at your picture and you do have a lovely body. and since i know without a doubt you arent real and if you real you are probably playing games on here, and not realy looking for a guy. but just in case you even take time to read this. i am real i am in search of a woman to run around with i am single and have no woman at this time if you would like to get together i can come see you. i have talked to women on here and made dates and they always lie and say they will meet me then i find they are married or have been dating someone they never show up so if you intend to lie to me dont write back to me
i dont have time for phonies. i hate to be so blunt but past exp. have most women on here are flakes i use my time for pleasure and dont want to waste it on flakes.

THE TRUTH:

I am real as they come, am on here to possibly meet a partner, to make friends and to blog. I find this offensive and rude>

Where Everything Is Music/STOP THE WORDS

Don't worry about saving these songs!
And if one of our instruments breaks,
it doesn't matter.

We have fallen into the place where everything is music.

The strumming and the flute notes
rise into the atmosphere,
and even if the whole world's harp
should burn up, there will still be
hidden instruments playing.

So the candle flickers and goes out.
We have a piece of flint and a spark.

This singing art is sea foam.
The graceful movements come from a pearl
somewhere on the ocean floor.

Poems reach up like spendthrift and the edge
of driftwood along the beach, wanting!

They derive
from a slow and powerful root
that we can't see.

Stop the words now.
Open the window in the center of your chest,
and let the spirits fly in and out.

Everyone is probably wondering...does that woman ever have an original thought??

I read a lot; so, often, words of others strike a chord in me to the degree that I want to share it with all of YOU. So, sue me!

Here's today's NUGGET:

"There are no right answers. But there is a right question. It's the one that rubs up against our self-righeousness, resistance and fears....When you ask yourself, 'Why not?' you may find yourself in motion, across a vivid and unpredictable landscape, over impossible mountains and beyond the water's edge, where you surprise yourself, once and for all, by getting wet."

Rising Sign is in 14 Degrees Libra
Very attractive and popular, your charm helps you to get your own way and prevents others from getting angry with you. "Peace and harmony at all costs" is your battle cry. You always try to ameliorate or to cosmetically hide any physical ugliness or any angry feelings between people. Flashy, but not gaudy, you prefer to dress elegantly. You generally have good taste in music, art and literature. Beware of the tendency to compromise yourself in your attempt to be agreeable at all times. A bit of a social butterfly, at times you can be vain and lazy. For the most part, however, you are gracious and affectionate, and your refined and aristocratic demeanor serves as a role model to others.

Sun is in 13 Degrees Scorpio.
Intense and complex by nature, you have extremely strong emotional reactions to most situations. Feelings are often very difficult for you to verbalize. Therefore you have a tendency to be very quiet - - to brood and think a lot. You seldom get overtly angry, but, when you do, you are furious and unforgiving. When you make an emotional commitment, it is total -- you are not attracted to superficial or casual relationships. If you are challenged, you take it as a personal affront and tend to lash out and fight back in a vengeful manner. You love mysteries and the supernatural. A good detective, you love getting to the roots of problems and you enjoy finding out what makes other people tick. You are known to be very willful, very powerful and quite tenacious!

Moon is in 08 Degrees Cancer.
For the most part, you are very strong and secure emotionally. You intuitively know what to do to make others feel comfortable, loved, accepted and needed. You naturally enjoy feeding and taking care of others. Be careful that your mothering does not turn into smothering. At times, you tend to feel that those to whom you are attached can never do anything without your assistance and support. Extremely sensitive by nature, it hurts you deeply whenever anyone criticizes you. You have an almost desperate need to be loved and wanted and needed by everyone with whom you come into contact, and you go out of your way to be accommodating to them.

Mercury is in 06 Degrees Sagittarius.
Your mind is very curious and inquisitive, always seeking information on a wide variety of topics. The broader the subject matter (philosophy, science, religion, metaphysics), the more it will appeal to you. You prefer to deal with abstractions -- the small but important details associated with any subject tend to slip your grasp. You are known for being blunt, honest and truthful.

Venus is in 18 Degrees Sagittarius.
You are very aware of the need to maintain a high sense of morality in a relationship. Your loyalty and interest will remain constant in any relationship (either friendly, personal or business) that is based on fairness, honesty and justice. But you will become greatly hurt and disappointed if the other person takes any but the high road with you. Also, you cannot tolerate anyone being overly emotionally possessive of you. You are known for your friendly, outspoken manner.

Mars is in 18 Degrees Capricorn.
Extremely ambitious, you are willing to work very hard to reach the goals you have set for yourself. Very practical, cautious and conservative, you demand tangible results for your efforts. You need to excel in whatever you do, and you have the required sense of responsibility, dedication and self-discipline to bring it about. Beware of your tendency to judge others only by their degree of status and prestige, or by how well they will be able to advance you in your climb to the top.

Jupiter is in 16 Degrees Taurus.
Growth only occurs for you after you have found a stable lifestyle and a dependable, protective and secure environment. You are at your best when those around you provide you with a great deal of affection and support. When you feel insecure or threatened, you tend to become possessive and grasping and self- indulgent. You are an inveterate collector with an expensive preference for all the good things that life has to offer.

Saturn is in 21 Degrees Libra.
Although you take quite a while to make decisions, you usually consider all sides to a question, all the pros and cons, and the solution you come up with is very often the correct one. You tend to be very reserved and shy, but, once you make a commitment to someone (in either a business or personal relationship), the partnership is forever. You have a strong sense of justice and fair play and greatly respect the laws and institutions by which you are governed. As such, you are outraged when others break laws or show contempt for authority.

Uranus is in 18 Degrees Cancer.
For you, and for your peers as well, the demand to be free from entangling emotional bonds is of paramount importance. You have a unique and unfettered view of family life and will be attracted to experimenting with freeform styles of relationship commitments. This may lead to a rootless, unsettled lifestyle.

Neptune is in 22 Degrees Libra.
You, and your entire generation, idealize all of the various experimental approaches to relationships -- including "living together", the formation of communes and collectives and the whole concept of "open" marriages. There is a stress on weakened commitments on an emotional and contractual level, but there are heightened expectations of the level of commitment and mutual support on the spiritual and metaphysical level.

Pluto is in 23 Degrees Leo.
For your entire generation, this is a time when the relationship of the individual to society as a whole is being thoroughly re-examined. Major attempts will be made to find a balance between the need to be self-sufficient and the need to honor debts of social commitment.

N. Node is in 17 Degrees Aquarius.
As long as someone else (or a group or organization) appeals to your intellectual sensibilities, you'll try to ally yourself with them in some way. You may find that you always seem to get involved with many wide-ranging groups -- so much so that you find it difficult to fit them all into your busy schedule. Your many friends and acquaintances provide you with needed stimulation. You're loyal and fair-minded -- you try to spend time equally with all your friends, never concentrating on just one or two for any length of time. Although probably quite conservative yourself, you're attracted to those who are a bit offbeat or eccentric -- you enjoy watching their minds work.

> > > You probably run a wet bar of Irish Spring under your armpits every morning and, if we're lucky, maybe take a swipe near your unmentionables. That's the beginning and the end, am I right? You might be surprised to find that Irish Spring or no, you STILL may be stinky. It's true! See, girls secrete sweat and stuff down there, just like boys. And it's an area that never gets any sunlight or fresh air, just like boys. You piss and shit and sometimes it doesn't all go away, just like boys. You have hair down there, just like boys. See where I'm going with this? You may stink as bad -- nay, worse! -- than me, the lucky guy about to put your nipples in my mouth. But have you ever heard a boy say he "doesn't do that"? Exactly. We don't say that. So do me a favor, please, and tomorrow start scrubbing your gentials with the same fervor I scrub mine. And consider buying wet toilet paper, it really does help you stay clean throughout the day. Anytime you think you might be perfectly clean, just rub a finger around your vagina and butt crack, then smell it. If comes up Irish Spring, perfect. If not, just think. I'm going to have to put my face in that.

My response: WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU.

Then he says....What do you mean? (OMG>..idioits rule the planet)

SO I say.....and this is my final word I PROMISE YOU>....>Let tme tell you something..there is not ONE WOMAN on the planet that would be happy to receive the note you sent to me...NOT ONE> It is mysogynistic, hateful, arrogant and rude.-

No repsonse from the scrubber....hahaha

Fresh from the shower...what could be more real?

I am not a mirror-ponderer. I do take minimal care of my skin and hair. I am basically unashamed of my face...lines, age spots, wrinkles, sundamage and all. Time tells a story.

Would you show your unadorned face to the world?

I have a friend whose hubby has NEVER seen her bare face...not once in 34 years.

Do you mind being seen completely as goddess made you?

Love & light, my lovelies

This is the motto of my fair county.

As I wandered about the pristine moutains on my mini vacation I found myself in awe of nature. Surrounded by all that beauty one feels small and insignificant.Yet, I also felt at one with the spirit that was all around me.

In a previous posting
Moving Mountains I talked about how the mountains embrace and comfort, yet not pen in...this is the kind of relationship I seek. Strength and tenderness, passion and comfort.

Where are the men to match our mountains??

*note..the motto was changed in 1989 to say "PEOPLE to match our mountains".The seal was designed by a 6th grader in 1920 in contest.

MESSY DESK...a love of books

As I sit here, reading, typing, I am confronted with my MESSY desk. There is NO order to its collection of books, papers and artifacts( oh, now there is a word...LOL ).

I find my self this morning taking an inventory of the books I have lingering on my desk. Some I use as references to my thoughts, some are old favorites and some are new purchases. ( YEAH...I am addicted).

SO what is there?

  • Several Norton Anthologies...English, American and World Masterpieces.
  • Mastery of Love by Don Miguel Ruiz
  • A Reiki manual.
  • a Tantra manual (!)
  • A book by Paulo Coelho called The Valkyries
  • Several issues of NY'er magazine
  • a wild flower field guide
  • a birdwatching field guide
  • Cultivating Delight by Diane Ackerman
  • two differnt style books for writing (I should use these more often)
  • several CD's
  • much trash...LOL
  • Old Passport
  • box of trivial pursuit question cards
  • tax documents
  • complete manicure apparatus...( my computer is SLOW..haha)
  • BIG coffee mug...

I am leaving out some things- no need to bore you completely !

I am addicted to bookstores, both the usual Borders or B&N and the old dusty musty used books stores...I really love those~ I have boxes of books waiting for a new bookshelf!

    So...tell me:

    What is on YOUR desk?
    Do you love books?
    What are you reading lately?

WHAT can you tell about ME from reading what is on my desk??

    THE SPIRIT OF COMPERSION
    Posted:Apr 29, 2006 2:24 pm

I bet you are thinking...I have never heard that word before. You'd be right, for the word was coined by a polyamory group.

Compersion n : the feeling of taking joy in the joy that others you love share among themselves, especially taking joy in the knowledge that your beloveds are expressing their love for one another, the term was coined by the Keristan Commune in San Francisco which practiced Polyfidelity, Kerista disbanded in the early 1990's.

The essence of it is that you deal with feelings of jealousy by replacing them with unconditional love and a spirit of INCLUSION ...rather than a feeling of fear of abandonment and EXCLUSION.

To me this is an idealized way to view an open lifetstyle. I think that it is a superb idea. However, I also feel that MOST people are not capable of this, even if they claim to be open and free of judgment, fear and jealousy.

When I first heard this term(compersion) and read a little bit about it I thought...YES...I know that jealousy is a FEAR...not a projection outward, but an inward looking emotion. If I embrace my fears instead of denying them and tell my partner what and when I am feeling them...well...that should make everything OK and let him know that I am not going to get angry AT him, as long as he includes me in his life.

I did not work...simply because the other person did NOT include me...excluded me at every turn ,did not even try to embrace my feelings at all, even though I understood his desires and needs and gave him free rein to express them.

Do I think a polyamorous life-style is workable? Do I think I am mature enough to embrace that? I don't know. All I do know is that sort of thing has reared its head in my life many times so I do feel it is worth investigating, even at this "late date". HeHe

What do you all feel about polyamory? Have you heard of "compersion"?

    Namaste my blogging friends
