I have been a gold member here now for 8 yrs .
until last yr I allowed my membership to auto renew and the was around $21 a month to be gold here. Auto-renewals allow a 6 month maximum. A yr would be $252
Over time the site has become less valuable for me and even though I enjoy viewing cams, videos, profiles and emailing I decided to let my gold lapse in march.
On the first day my gold lapsed they offered a renewal $9 a month or $98 a yr.
Two days later the site offered a limited time offer of $7 a month or $84 a yr .
Then the site is offered $4 a month or $48 a yr .
After a few weeks it went back up to $7.95 a month
How is it pricing can decrease 81% in less then two weeks for the Local Sexy Swingers experience?
Membership is down. Long time members are leaving. Less people are around . Glitches, changes, bugs, bots and bugs annoy us. The IM sucks. Things keep changing but not improving.
I can easily afford renewal. I choose not to at this time

People ask me occasionally why would a person who is in a relationship pay for a membership here and chat.
Everyone has their own reasons.
Mine is simple. I like my friends. I've been here a little more then three years now. I've made good, funny online friends. Chat can sometimes be kind of hanging out in a bar with your buddies. Hey drinks are cheaper at home anyways! Also I can smoke some green if I choose to

I was in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship with a woman I met online.
I just left her. Leaving was the right decision for me. Although we live in different states we saw each other weekly for over ten years and bi weekly for the last five.

Yes I know it's wrong.
Hate me if you want. I am not speaking on behalf of all men.
I did not change how I treated her. I was more attentive. I looked/weighed the same as I did when I met her so, so many years ago. Maybe I have a few gray hairs now but still I'm a vibrant 43.
I was in a long term long distance relationship and had many opportunities to stray. I had a monogamous relationship until about 2 years ago.
She had'women problems' which required abstinence in between treatments & refused to get any form of supplemental help or counseling. When she was in one of her moods/cycles I might as well have slept on the couch. She changed a lot. Sullen. Depressed. Bitchy.
We had hours of conversations where she did most of the talking. She wanted to talk about herself and her issues. When she was done she wanted to sleep. It would have been nice to hear "how was your day" once in a while. We talked daily and multiple times each day.
LTR got lazy and she let herself go over the years and was very unhappy about her appearance. She didn't change her eating, drinking or other unhealthy habits. I really didn't care about her weight. She so so did.
I complemented, encouraged, pampered, consoled and appreciated and got snapped at. A woman who hates herself can be nasty. "You look beautiful to me" received a "no i'm not you fucking asshole."
When we were together I catered to her needs. We ate where and when she wanted. We attended her functions, events and social events when possible. I cooked cleaned, shopped and did whatever she wanted during our weekends together.
When things at work got her pissed the anger errupted on me. I'm the target of her frustration because her boss is a dick, her job sucks or she feels fat. WTF?
I had two affairs.

The blogs here are great. I enjoy reading several good writers & found many funny, interesting stories. Some of the pictures I've seen are crazy. The long term bloggers are genuinely nice people.
I've been disappointed with the chat rooms. The groups I've checked out are mostly inactive.
I can afford a membership but choose not to join while I'm checking out what this site has to offer.
There are a lot of pervs and fakes. If a person starts a chat with "where/when do you want to fuck" I'm not interested. I'm not a prude but I have standards. I have to know a person a little before I get naughty.
