My blog question the other day on this same subject was viewed over 225 times with only 2 comments.
So this time I am taking a poll with more options.

My ex wife and I disagreed on the topic which is why I would like to know how you feel.

Over the top toward the user (front side of the roll)
Over the top away from the user (back side of roll)
No preference, as long as someone replaced the empty roll
Sitting on the counter or tank, Let someone else deal with it
