Today (and everyday) I am thankful for my 's health 
He's been pretty sick all month and his Doctor did not help (another day, another post).
I love that boy with more love than I ever thought was humanly possible!
Happy Thanksgiving my friends!!!

Can someone tell me WHY a millionaire actor would donate money to the Screen Actor's Writer Guild (or whatever it's called) when those writers make more money in a month than I make all year???
But in the meantime my 34 year old cousin is dying from a brain tumor and has no insurance to pay his bills. He is self employed and struggled for years to build his business and now will leave his 3 small and young wife with nothing.
My favorite has Parkinson's disease but can't get her medications because they cost $600.00 a month! She can't get help paying for them because she is too young to receive Social Security or Medicare and welfare won't help her because she owns her home. Doesn't matter that her house is falling apart.
Another family member has holes in her ceiling and when it rains the water runs perilously close to her fuse box. She has 11 buckets catching water. But she cannot get help from Social Services because they say that all available funds are reserved for flood victims. That flood was over 2 years ago!!!
But no!
Let's just worry about the screen writers and whether or not Jay Leno will have funny quips for his viewers tonight.
Let's send our money overseas to who knows where to be handled by who knows who for who knows what.
Let's not think twice about the in our own neighborhoods or the old lady down the block who can't afford her medication. Don't worry about that loving family of 10 who live in that dilapidated 2 bedroom shack. Pay no mind to the starving homeless on the street. They can fend for themselves, right Mr. Millionaire actor???
Sorry but this just really irks me

In my previous post I had stated that I was in a great mood today and now I remember why
At about 1AM after an incredibly HOT evening with sorceror07 I was drifting off to sleep. Even though it was cold outside we had opened the window by our bed to cool down our over-heated bedroom 
I was in that peaceful place that engulfs your mind just before falling asleep, when I heard him say:
"You look so beautiful in the moonlight"
I am a very lucky woman!!!

My man and I are both sick, he much worse than I, my Lil' Metalhead just got over being sick, it's snowing and cold outside, I just finished my holiday shopping while sitting here naked, our cats are trying to kill each other and I have the following song on constant rotation in my head. Well my friends, it is done.
FINALLY!!!
What, you ask?
I'll be happy to tell you!
That elusive first step has been taken by me. The step that has taken me 37 looooong years to take. I've thought about taking it but I was never truly ready to release my demons.
And they are hard to let go, for there is some sort of perverse comfort in their pain. I can't really explain what I mean by that but I know _Safira gets my meaning!
I'm ready, finally, truly ready to release them and set myself free. (Incase you are new or just plain clueless as to what demons I'm referring to, just read this: I39 ve been trying to slay a nasty demon )
And upon doing so, I am ready to reap the rewards that surely will come my way
I have no illusions that it will be easy. There will be days that I falter. But I will never fail, I REFUSE to. This is too important for me. I'm ready to live...to really LIVE the rest of my days in peace
I've been thinking about writing a book. Not about this experience. A book about weight loss and how to have fun while losing. I know there are a million books out there on the subject but there are none like what I have in mind.
Actually, I have another book idea in mind too but I plan on taking the rest of my life one day, and one book at a time!
A big thank you to the love of my life for standing by me and allowing me to grow at my own snail's pace! hehehe! You are an amazing man and I love you with all of my being, for eternity
