Why bother?!?!?

Since I have been back on here over the last two weeks I have come to a realization....why bother. Why bother as a standard member to reach out to Gold members on IM? Why bother trying to communicate with anyone as a standard member? When I send IM's, which is my only way have back and forth conversations with other members, of probably the 50 or so I have sent, only one person has responded with text and one other message showed read.

All the others just say delivered. So I am assuming I am getting bots or spam accounts at that point. We will see how things change when I can get a gold membership.
