I am human. I contain about 6.7 x 1027 atoms and am composed of 60 chemical elements. I am 65% water, 12% lipids, 1.5% inorganic, and the rest is snakes, snails, and puppy tails. I left northern Michigan at the tender age of 18 to discover the world. My first of many delirious encounters was the fact that there were places that you actually can’t see your breath in winter. From there new horizons opened and I’ve never been the same nor have I gone back north. I have explored the jungles of Southeast Asia, the deserts on Arabia, the great cities of Europe, and swam in most of the oceans, and seen the sunrise in most time zones. I have seen the tragedy of human behavior toward his environment, his kind, and himself. I have seen the wonder and joy in a ’s eye and anger eating the human soul. All of it has made me caring, grateful, generous, forgiving, and most important human.
